I have just installed Etch on a Poweredge 1950.
I can ping it but can ping anything from the system.
The arp table is incomplete i.e. no MAC address of the gateway.
I tries downloading a newer kernel image on another Debian box but
even thought I search for the AMD64 image, and then do an apt-get -d
install, the pachage it downloads is:
linux-image-2.6.18-4-amd64_2.6.18.dfsg.1-12etch2_i386.deb
and the "i386" is confusing!!! Where does it come from. It's
obviously not the corrent package as it won't let me load it using
dpkg as its the wrong architecture.
How do I download the "real" amd64 image?
