I've tried that many times. Those 'Ign' messages will

Isn't that exactly what is supposed to happen? How can aptitude forget
about the CD-ROMs if you leave references to them in your sources.list?
But it remembers them even if I remove them and change their targets.
My CD-ROM drive mounts at /cdrom, but the Etch ISO images are
loop-mounted at /mnt/IsoEtch1 and /mnt/IsoEtch2.
Even after I remove all references to CDROMs and ISOs from my
sources.list, and do "aptitude update", and do "apt-cdrom -m
-d=/mnt/IsoEtch1", then "aptitude update", aptitude still wants to
install packages from /cdrom.
