This only works for the youtube.com web site (e.g. not embeds), but provided you're using a Greasemonkey-or-equivalent enabled web browser, try this user script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/6011 Youtube-dl[0] is also useful, you can get embedded videos' location using the "Block" tabs that Adblock Plus creates on Flash embed objects (they function like hyperlinks to the embedded conent, you can right-click and select "Copy Link Location" to paste into a terminal).
