Hi there! I have just installed Debian Lenny in an Acer TravelMate 2301LM, using KDE 3.5.5. Everything looks fine, except for sound system, it does work but I can't configure the volume, neither by software nor by pushing down dedicated buttons (for this Laptop, Ctrl+"UP or DOWN arrow"). I have tried to configure it running "alsaconf" as su but there's no difference.
It was working in Ubuntu 5.10 using Gnome, so what's the difference? What should I do? Kind regards.
