I have two debian machines, picard and riker. They both have the same ssh and ssl
packages installed (OpenSSH_3.6.1p2 Debian 1:3.6.1p2-2, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL
0x0090702f). But, for some odd reason, X11 forwarding only works in one direction
(ssh from picard to riker, display on picard). When I tried to investigate farther, I
found that picard's ssh daemon was using 1.99 (Local version string
SSH-1.99-OpenSSH_3.6.1p2 Debian 1:3.6.1p2-2), (Remote protocol version 1.99, remote
software version OpenSSH_3.6.1p2 Debian 1:3.6.1p2-2) while riker's ssh daemon was
using 2.0 (Local version string SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_3.6.1p2 Debian 1:3.6.1p2-2), (Remote
protocol version 2.0, remote software version OpenSSH_3.6.1p2 Debian 1:3.6.1p2-2).
Does anyone have any thoughts?

I've attached the debug/verbose output from ssh and sshd on picard and riker. I ran
"sshd -ddd" to get the sshd output files and "ssh -X -vvv <other hostname> xterm" to
get the ssh output files.

Thanks,
Jayen
