Hello! I wish to programing LPT port on the PC box from Debian Etch system. I wish to make some applications that can run on other platforms too. (eg.: win 32)
Which one programming language is capable to easily access the LPT port and in the same time to allow to port the applications to others systems too (win 32)? My friend try the java language, but I think that there are better languages for this purpose there, are not?
