It solved the eloquently described "same issue on 9600XT/amd64" which, as far as I can tell, is supposed to be part of the "X11 display terribly slow after upgrade" thread. I think it is time to start filtering out all mails which have listhandler=2&site=www.debianhelp.org in their header.
