Yes, Ron Johnson posted the exact details on how to do the "coaxing" as
you call it.  But since the .run package is still on my system, it
doesn't take long to reinstall the binary blob.  I really wish I didn't
need it and could remain using dsfg only software, but alas, this
machine is too picky for that.  Maybe I should just buy another PC.
Good excuse.  Maybe my wife will fall for it.  (Wishful thinking)
