You don't need to send things to me and cc the list. I read it anyway and thus get two copies. The same can be said with many others that use this list. Yes, you're right. A pain that is, but at least they do launch the system preference, and I suppose it is possible to modify x-www-browser to be a symlink to something in a user's home directory that in turn is a symlink to the actuall browser people want to use. It's certainly a round-about way of creating user defined brower, but it theoretcally should work.
