I used http://us.debian.org and switched over to xmission which made about
11 different package errors disappear. The 11 package errors happened
with my last run of aptitude dist-upgrade on ftp://us.debian.org.

When I run aptitude dist-upgrade for the last few days I'm getting an
error 404 back for the latest version of mysql-common package. That's
the first time I've had that happen and I regularly run aptitude update
before running aptitude dist-upgrade. Was that package withdrawn and
the external data bases not updated to reflect the withdrawal for some
reason?
Maybe the repository that you use is broken?
