D'oh. Missed that. IMO, 73,763 is not a large doument. 73,000+ words, yes. I have written a few books, all of which are over that amount and word/open office can handle them just fine. It does take a few seconds to load, but once loaded everything works fine. Perhaps it has to do something with available memory.
