After rebooting it again, I found famd still ran as me. Is famd supposed to behave like this? I never think a daemon that starts from init script should change itself to a normal user privilege. And another etch box of mine has famd running as root correctly. Is this a bug? - -- Cheers, Wei Chen http://www.acplex.com/people/wchen/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFGHxb/CIqXQV6BF28RApS1AJ4vRbi9oGRyIhSUGNwkvd6IGRbM4QCfb5sX s51UJNeXj36/1c2fiNVGw0c= =GrlT -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
