-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I've been reading the documentation on Aptitude available in /usr/share/doc/aptitude/README, trying to figure out how to search based on multiple terms but I just can't get it quite right.
As a test I've been trying to search for a non-official package, installed (Not using "~i" though), with a description of "compression". Using the command: aptitude search "!~Odebian" "!~g" "!~v" "~dcompression" Should work, but it seems to omit each of the options as ONE search string and searches them all separately. Is there any way to get all of these terms working with each other, instead of individually? Also, how do I search for descriptions with multiple words? "~dsuper nintendo" doesn't seem to work, and neither does "~dsuper" "~dnintendo". - -- <o) Debian GNU/Linux - Free as in Freedom /\\ http://digital-haze.net/~pobega/ - My Debian site and blog _\_V Window Maker user, Debian enthusiast, Mutt lover -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFGHanX/o7Q/FCvPe0RAlfjAJ9FhzjO7alKj2V01IpyWVqMtbTpTACfSKBi 89NTJXFaz+Z01eKgzWzxED0= =R2Y3 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
