I have this problem that sometimes when typing in Russian, I have accidentally hit a combination of keys (which I don't actually know) which puts my computer in a locked desktop status. That would be OK, except that I was in a Russian keyboard input mode and you can't change the input mode when the desktop is locked. In other words, I can't enter my password. The only way out is to kill kde and restart. Is anyone aware of a way to prevent this? i.e., either enabling language switching while the desktop is locked, or forcing the keyboard to switch to English when the desktop is locked?
