Etch: how to make own xen domU kernel ?

Hello everyone

Perhaps, this is not the best place to ask such question but i'll try to 
start here.
I need to build my own xen domU kernel with my own patches but to be 
honest I can't get how to compile xen kernels as debian packages in 
Etch. Could anyone point to me to a manual or describe here ?
For example, I installed linux-source-2.6.18 and 
linux-patch-debian-2.6.18, what next ?
