If you're looking for size, buy inexpensive boards based on mini-itx motherboards. These use the Via C3 processor, and the 533MHz versions are fanless. If the built-in NIC isn't PXE compliant, you can always install one for $15. The C3 is x86 compatible, and fully supported by Linux. So all you'd need is a tiny case, RAM, motherboard and possibly a 2nd NIC, and there you have a silent X Terminal. It won't be a speed demon, but doesn't need to be. -- +-----------------------------------------------------------+ | Ron Johnson, Jr. Home: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | Jefferson, LA USA http://members.cox.net/ron.l.johnson | | | | 4 degrees from Vladimir Putin +-----------------------------------------------------------+ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
