Yes, it was Etch/Sid that had the issue and no, it wasn't the 1.5 to 2.0 transition. You're right about expecting bugs. I'm not complaining about having a little bug here or there. You're right that it is to be expected, that's why is isn't Stable. What I don't like is bugs being created to fix bugs that aren't there. I suppose that's the risk I take for running up to date software rather than old software, too bad I can't get "stable new software". I suppose that is an oxymoron in the Debian world. Oh, now I am criticizing Debian. Shame on me. I take it back. There were no problems, only hiccups. The problem is not with the software, it's with the web and the webmasters that don't author compliant pages.
