When I give a demo to my friend, I want the desktop environment to use my friend's language. When I give a presentation, I want the desktop environment to use the language of the audience. Often in a language with diglossia, the desktop environment uses exoglossia and the user uses endoglossia. Therefore, the user will not undertand some of the messages.
