If that is the case, then you'd likely not have the 9755, but at best the 9746. In Sid however, it's still 8776, which is quite old. - From my experience if one installs nvidia-glx then wants to update to the drivers from nvidia's site, one must remove nvidia-glx first or the installer doesn't work right. I've played with these drivers for a long time because of a stupid bug in my motherboard. It will be the last time I buy a machine that is "named brand", that is for sure. This computer is a Compaq Presario SR1617NL, which I picked up rather cheap. I know why now. - -- Registerd Linux user #443289 at http://counter.li.org/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFF/5NfiXBCVWpc5J4RAkJLAJ0faAQhSF1HRbIm7uxXhY9kw48buACffZeI 78sAR9UhXVXQPm4wAu810Mw= =ACgD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
