I'm planning to move my printer over to another box, so this interests me. One question's answer I don't know is whether packages outside the daemon/library are needed. For instance, I use the GIMP on my own box, and the CUPS filters are installed. Will they (or other suggested's) need to be installed on the other box, or will that one take the input from my programs directly? (Hope this makes sense...?)
