I do know that it resembles in many ways Reston, VA, which is a planned community of Robert E. Simon, thus RESton. Reston was designed as a place where one could live, shop and work without having to leave the community. Each subdivision has it's own shopping center, and office buildings are scattered throughout. There are also bicycle/walking paths connecting the areas together, as well wide roadways. It's changed some since it was started, because of urban sprawl. Reston is 18 or so miles south-west of Washington DC.
