We have some HP dc7700 installed with GNU/Linux 4.0, kernel version is linux-image-2.6.18-4-686. With this version I can't see the second installed SATA disk. If I use a (self compiled) kernel version 2.6.20.1, I see this disk as /dev/sdb. Anyone else here with the same problem? Is it a bug in the Debian version of the Linux kernel or is the ata_piix module for the Intel SATA controller too old or ...
