Other than the wifi, this looks just like plain-vanilla home networking. >From a networking perspective, the NIC 2 to DSL is the same as if it was a regular modem ppp link. I don't do wifi. However, I was just reading the shorewall docs and noticed that it has a separate section on adding wifi. Apparently shorewall can ensure that your neighbours aren't getting a free ride. It may be worth checking out the shorewall docs. I guess that would put the wifi on the debian box rather than the switch. This being the case, then any switch will do since its just a switch.
