Hi, After trying unsuccessfully to get beyond the yenta_socket hang in my failed attempt to install Sarge , http://www.debianhelp.org/node/3423, I am now trying to install Ubuntu instead
After going through some elaborate boot procedure, the screen is black: no mouse, no cursor, no pictures, no words Along the way I was told:
[17180006.540000] toshoboe: 0xffe0 could not be read mount: Function not implemented
