Hmm .. thats a thought. If I move files (image files in this case)
between konqueror windows (from one directory to another, i.e.), I don't
think their time stamp gets modified.
*If* it did, this would be one way to order the files based on the
modified time. I could make a tmp directory, open it in konqueror and
start moving images from the source folder to this one. The result would
be the time stamps of files in the tmp folder would agree with the order
in which they were moved. A simple shell script can then rename the
files (sorted with time) sequentially.
So, can konqueror modify the time stamp of a file when it is
copied/moved to a different folder?
