Could it be that the one that got 5 has had its list of available packages updated more recently than the one that got 4 (and couldn't find 5)? I have two computers and use aptitude. I always do an update on all computers then install any packages I want. You can use aptitude update or apt-get update. If you do an update on the one that got 4, does it show 5 avialable?
