I am using Sarge with the 2.6.17 kernel from backports.org. According to tidbits I have read on the Internet, DVD+RW support was added to the kernel in 2.6.10, and I should be able to make an file system on a DVD+RW with mke2fs.
However, it doesn't work: mke2fs /dev/hdd mke2fs 1.37 (21-Mar-2005) /dev/hdd: Invalid argument passed to ext2 library while setting up superblock I also installed udftools and the pktcdvd module: modprobe pktcdvd pktsetup /dev/pktcdvd0 /dev/hdd ioctl: Inappropriate ioctl for device Can anyone advise me on this?
