Help yourself. Just run it via cron and deposit stdout someplace the
win2k server can get to (lighttpd would be ideal on a non standard
port).

Its as easy as just parsing XML. Very much like phpsysinfo, but 7k to
fork vs 12-15 MB for php. A little more gentle than NRPE for the same
intended purpose. 

Good for basic monitoring of vitals, easily modified to do more.
