I'm trying to configure my keyboard in GNOME 2.14.3 (Debian PowerPC testing). Selecting "Layout View" from the Keyboard Indicator applet's popup menu gives a blank window with only "Help" and "Close" buttons. No diagram of a keyboard is shown. Same sort of problem when I browse keyboard layouts in the Keyboard Preferences.
