You need to edit the /etc/hosts file to set the name and domain for 127.0.0.1. You can not get these from a DNS server and this is the information returned by "hostname -f" In the /etc/hosts file you need to have something like this at the top of the file: --- 127.0.0.1 name.domain name 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost --- Hope this helps, -- George Borisov DXSolutions Ltd
