I cannot get my printer to work, I have a hewlett packard printer and a compaq pcI want to know are they compatible. The computer was given to me,but the printer I had, my other pc died and could not be repaired.  I am wondering what should I do? I can't afford to go out and buy another one.  Thank you for any help you can offer.  Eleanor
