I'd like to know that as well. but in case you don't get a good answer,
here is how I did to solve the problem -- control what you can control.
I.e., switch your local box's your own uid to what NFS'. 

In situations that you can control both sides, pick a big enough uid for
both sides that won't clash with others'.
