I believe you need to separate certain words with underscores, e.g. Auth_MySQL_Host.
Don't forget to set up your authentication table and populate it, and for me, I needed to stipulate "Auth_MySQL_Encryption_Types Plaintext" for the lookups to work (which led me to do this over SSL).
