Question about make-kpkg ... when create a new kernel image for an ACPI patched kernel the .config file gets overwritten and there are changes in the values of the .config file. Another person has reported that it doesn't happen when they use the non-Debian way. Is the patch dictating what happens to the config file? or is it something else?
For me the ACPI module lines are changed from M to Yes.
