Hi, How to use Database abstraction ADODB for PHP? I've got the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect() in /usr/share/php/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 353 I've installed the following packages: ii libapache-mod-php4 server-side, HTML-embedded scripting language (apache 1.3 module) ii libdbd-mysql-perl A Perl5 database interface to the MySQL database ii libmysqlclient15off mysql database client library ii libphp-adodb The 'adodb' database abstraction layer for php ii mysql-client mysql database client (current version) ii mysql-client-5.0 mysql database client binaries ii mysql-common mysql database common files (e.g. /etc/mysql/my.cnf) ii mysql-server mysql database server (current version) ii mysql-server-5.0 mysql database server binaries ii php-pear PEAR - PHP Extension and Application Repository ii php4-common Common files for packages built from the php4 source ii php5-cgi server-side, HTML-embedded scripting language (CGI binary) ii php5-cli command-line interpreter for the php5 scripting language ii php5-common Common files for packages built from the php5 source ii php5-mysql MySQL module for php5 ii phpmyadmin set of PHP-scripts to administrate MySQL over the WWW My phpinfo returns "PHP Version 4.4.2-1.1", I've enabled php mysql: $ grep =mysql /etc/php4/apache/php.ini extension=mysql.so I've restarted apache & mysql afterward: /etc/init.d/apache restart /etc/init.d/mysql restart Still I get the above error.
