Jeez, Paul, are you ignorant or what? Didn't I just point out just a day or two ago that in the '70s one member of the EC voted for the Libertarian Party? In fact it is because of that vote the Libertarian Party holds the distinction of having not only run and gotten a EC vote for the first female Vice-President candidate but the first person of the Jewish faith to get such a vote. Don't believe me? http://www.guide2womenleaders.com/Candidates_Vice1880.htm "1972 Theodora (Tonie) Nathan, United States of America For the Libertarian in 1972. In January she became the first woman in US History to receive an electoral vote in the Electoral College, and also making her the first Jewish person to receive an electoral vote and to gain a nomination to run as Vice-President." I'm betting in your world view Joseph Lieberman was the first. Still gonna say I don't keep up with current world events, Paul? -- Steve C. Lamb | But who decides what they dream?
