Answering my own question as it might be helpful for people reading the archives at a later point of time. The trick here is to copy /etc/X11/rgb.txt to /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/ and then everything works fine. Found the solution in Ubuntu forums ( http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=192327 ) regards raju -- http://kamaraju.googlepages.com/cornell-bazaar http://groups.google.com/group/cornell-bazaar/about -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
