^^^^^^^^Your kernel source is still packed. De-pack it, using "tar -xjvf kernel-source-2.4.20.tar.bz2". You'll get a new directory (either linux-2.4.20 or kernel-source-2.4.20, not sure). Symlink the new directory to linux "ln -s <new_dir> linux", and try the patch again. Yours Sincerely Alexander
