You'll need to provide much more detail, such as: - the make and model of printer - the PPD for the printer (/etc/cups/ppd/printername) - check if the duplex option is set in the printer configuration - set LogLevel to debug in /etc/cups/cupsd.conf, reload CUPS and then print a job with duplex enabled. Then look through /var/log/cups/error_log (and show it to us; you might need to bzip2 it). I've CC'd the printing list for you.
