Hi Richard, What I do is first copy the images to my system. Then I use a program called exiv2 to automatically rename the files using the timestamp as stored in their EXIF data. I suggest you do a 'wajig install exiv2' (or more probably 'apt-get install exiv2') and a man exiv2 to find out if this program meets your needs. It just might...
