Hi, I'm trying to configure a Pinnacle DC10 av/dv card on a Sid box.
The card has two RCA plugs, for input and output, and two s-video plugs. It also has a firewire port. The card's firewire port gets set up automatically without much trouble. (Well, I can only seem to import raw video as root, but that's a relatively minor issue, I guess.) However, I can't get the analog-to-digital part working. As far as I can tell, the a-to-d bit needs the zoran driver [1], which is included in the 2.6.16 kernel I'm running. If I say: modprobe zr36067 I get: FATAL: Error inserting zr36067 (/lib/modules/2.6.15-1-686/kernel/drivers/media/video/zr36067.ko): No such device I get the same even if I play with the card=X options on the kernel module. In dmesg I get: Zoran MJPEG board driver version 0.9.5 No known MJPEG cards found. I'm actually not 100% convinced that the card actually has a Zoran chip on it--there are chips with "Pinnacle" printed on them, but no "Zoran". If I say lspci -v, it says that the first Pinnacle device listed uses IRQ 11, and that the VGA controller also uses IRQ 11. (However, if I say cat /proc/interrupts, I don't see anything at all for IRQ 11.) Anyway, I would try changing the card's interrupt, to see if that works, but I don't know how. I already tried moving it to the other PCI slot. Any ideas?
