The card (lspci -v): ---------------------- 0000:05:02.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7133 Video Broadcast Decoder (rev d0) Subsystem: Unknown device 4e42:3306 Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 50 Memory at fb7fe800 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=2K] Capabilities: <available only to root> ----------------------
Is one strange brand: Zaapa.net (for test, if doesn't works I can return it) that seems one FlyDVB-T Hybrid (http://www.bttv-gallery.de/) Seems that the best detection is with the model 84 because creates all devices: video and radio. The model 55 doesn't see radio device. But the sound doesn't works. The error message in syslog is «dsp access error» Any orientation? Thanks :) ----------------------------------------------- # modprobe saa7134 card=84 audio_debug=1 syslog: May 10 21:33:55 itaca kernel: saa7130/34: v4l2 driver version 0.2.14 loaded May 10 21:33:55 itaca kernel: ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:05:02.0[A] -> GSI 18 (level, low) -> IRQ 50 May 10 21:33:55 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: found at 0000:05:02.0, rev: 208, irq: 50, latency: 64, mmio: 0xfb7fe800 May 10 21:33:55 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: subsystem: 4e42:3306, board: LifeView FlyDVB Trio [card=84,insmod option] May 10 21:33:55 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: board init: gpio is 10000 May 10 21:33:55 itaca kernel: tuner 1-004b: chip found @ 0x96 (saa7133[0]) May 10 21:33:55 itaca kernel: tuner 1-004b: setting tuner address to 61 May 10 21:33:55 itaca kernel: tuner 1-004b: tuner: type set to tda8290+75a May 10 21:33:56 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 00: 42 4e 06 33 54 20 1c 00 43 43 a9 1c 55 d2 b2 92 May 10 21:33:56 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 10: 00 00 62 08 ff 20 ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff May 10 21:33:56 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 20: 01 40 01 03 03 01 01 03 08 ff 01 ed ff ff ff ff May 10 21:33:56 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 30: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff May 10 21:33:56 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 40: ff 21 00 c2 96 10 05 01 01 16 32 15 ff ff ff ff May 10 21:33:56 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 50: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff May 10 21:33:56 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 60: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff May 10 21:33:56 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: i2c eeprom 70: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff May 10 21:33:57 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: dsp access error May 10 21:33:57 itaca last message repeated 5 times May 10 21:33:57 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]/audio: tvaudio thread scan start [1] May 10 21:33:57 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]/audio: PAL scan May 10 21:33:57 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]/audio: scanning: B/G D/K I May 10 21:33:57 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: dsp access error May 10 21:33:57 itaca last message repeated 3 times May 10 21:33:57 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: registered device video0 [v4l2] May 10 21:33:57 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: registered device vbi0 May 10 21:33:57 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: registered device radio0 May 10 21:33:57 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: dsp access error May 10 21:33:57 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]: dsp access error May 10 21:34:00 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]/audio: tvaudio thread status: 0x100000 [no standard detected] May 10 21:34:00 itaca kernel: saa7133[0]/audio: detailed status: ############# init done ----------------------------------------------- Regards, -- Benjamí http://blog.bitassa.cat .
