I have the same modem, and Sarge, managed to install it with the
drivers and instructions I found on:
http://www.sagem.com/support/site/modele_fax.php?page=driver
When you download the file, there is a sub-directory called Debian,
study the READMEDebian file and it should work on your machine too.
