Unless your cellphone allows you to put a phone line in it, this won't work. The only way in which you'll be able to use your computer modem to make a cellphone call, is to use a cellphone-to-landline converter of sorts. I think Nokia has such a beast - it takes your sim card, and you plug your ordinary phone or fax machine into it. Another option is a GSM modem (assuming you're on a GSM network). It sits on your serial port, like an ordinary modem, but does the conversion to cellphone language. Maybe there are other ways to do this with normal cellphone calls (as opposed to using GPRS or 3G or a similar technology), but I don't see you doing it with an ordinary cellphone and an ordinary modem.
