then it tells me this
LostSonMedia Change: Please insert the disc labelled
‘Debian GNU/Linux testing _Etch_ - Official Snapshot i386 Binary-1 (20060314)’
in the drive ‘/cdrom/’ and press enter
So do i need to download another cd or is there a way around this? thanks
If you have a broadband connection, then comment out (#) the CD-ROM
entry in /etc/apt/sources.list and write a new line for the nearest
Debian repositiry.
If you dont have broadband:
You already used the ‘Debian GNU/Linux testing _Etch_ - Official
Snapshot i386 Binary-1 (20060314)’ when you were installing Debian, if
not there would not be this entry in your sources.list file. Just put in
the CD from which you installed Debian into compueter and follow the
instructions. If I remember correctly there is everything you need to
install kdebase on the first Debian CD.
