In Debian, yes. In the Unix world in general, it still appears to be
sendmail.
Might as well say "the Linux world" doesn't use sendmail. Not many
distros default to sendmail, only the older "traditional" Unix flavors.
Most clueful admins that have seen the "Linux world" solutions, rip
sendmail off their other boxes as part of the initial build and put
something saner on.
