Well, to be fair, you could always make an /etc/cron.hourly directory, create an entry in /etc/crontab to mimic the current ones in there (yet changing the timings, so as to be run hourly), and put your scripts in there.RedHat has the directory /etc/cron.hourly, but this is not present in debian. Why is that? Should think that clock synchronization is needed. Especially since most computer clocks drift with at least 5 second every day.
