Hello *, Sorry for Crossposting, but need urgently Help...
My GSM-Provider "Bouygues Telecom" in France offer a abonement GPRS/EDGE with 53/200 kBit with unlimited traffic Internet for 79 Euro/month (PCMCIA and SIM free of charge). The PCMCIA card is a <http://www.sierrawireless.com/> but currently I do not know which of the four. OK, there is a proprietary driver for it (downloadable from there website) but I like to know whether there is a Linux driver allready in Linux 2.4.27-32 and how it works with Linux. The cards as I remember support HSCSD, GPRS, EDGE and UMTS (WaveLAN I do not remember) And at last not least, there is a friend of me which offered me his card for a special price because he is using his own SonyEricson. Problem: The card has a SIM-Lock. How can I get rid of it? I like to use the second card with my GSM-Providers in Germany and Turkey.
