I'm slightly puzzled. The best way to install *any* software on Debian is to find a Debian apt package of the software that you want to install, and use that package. The best place to look for the package is in a Debian repository, or mirror thereof. KDE is available as a Debian package. The KDE package will automatically install any other packages that are needed to get KDE working. It really works!
