Sort of...

I'm running Woody, and adding sources with Woody backports, so I can run
GnomeMeeting (>0.93), OpenOffice.org, etc.

I have Gnome 2 up, and most packages with it, but gaim won't load. It
claims missing dependencies.

So, I actually have a philosophical question - is this right? I mean,
do I comtemplate life on the bleeding edge, or should I spring into
action to tell someone "Hey, you've got a broken dependency"?

It's a cultural question - am I an explorer, or should I be a Quality
Assurance person in a case like this?

Thanks from a Debian newbie for guidance.

Cheers,
Bret
